And so, I took the Giant Squid Challenge

Wow! I don't recognize myself! I finally took the Giant Squid Challenge and will make a point to create at least 10 additional lenses by December 31st.

It is not too hard to create that number of lenses in two months as Christmas is arriving and we'll have plenty of topics to write on but there's a big difference between making a lens and making a WONDERFUL lens!

My first assignments for the Challenge was to create a "Best Movie Ever" lens. I'm not comfortable with movies at all! The only one I would have been able to make would be the Addams Family one but I connected the topic with Halloween costumes.

So, I thought about the kind of subject to use and finally made decision on Marilyn Monroe and the fantastic Seven Year Itch movie.

I went to All Posters in order to find a few Seven Year Itch as well as Marilyn Monroe related pics and found a bunch of wonderful photos and posters. Then I took my DVD - yes, I have the movie at home - and watched for the 1,000 time this marvelous film and all the bonuses that came with it. I then took a few notes, and after having spend good time watching TV, I created the lens.
