Giant Squid Assignment: How To Lens

La langue française dans le monde *Bleu foncé ...Image via Wikipedia

Well, last Friday we've got a new assignment at Giant Squid Challenge (the Squidoo big status): we were asked to build a how to lens type with at least one review of a book made by us. So, all in all, the lens would have to look like a book we would have written to guide others in doing one thing.

After a bit of brainstorming, I decided to use my personal English learning experience as well as what I've learned regarding others ability in learning a language when we're native French speakers to build this Squidoo lens.

Indeed, it's hard as a French speaker to understand how others build their sentences as most of the time, it doesn't make sense. It is also hard to hear, understand and apply foreign accents as French speakers only hear and understand one or two sounds - most of our sounds are "dumb sounds".

And so, I created How to teach English to a French speaker. The purpose of this Squidoo lens is to not only give a few tips on how to teach English to someone who is certainly going to massacre your language but this also uses a lot of humorous cliches.
